Marva is the creator of Island Elegant weddings at Pelican Bay, which continues to attract brides seeking a unique, fun, elegant and memorable wedding.

Passionate about excellent service and with impeccable attention to detail, she is director, and lead planner/designer of Chic Bahamas Weddings.

As a world traveler, Marva’s far-flung journeys enable her to bring many unique experiences to the weddings she plans. Training from top wedding industry leaders including Rebecca Grinnals of Engaging Concepts, and top event planners and designers in the likes of Colin Cowie, Todd Fiscus of Todd Event Design, Bryan Rafanelli, Mindy Weiss and Wedding Cake Diva Sylvia Weinstock, amongst many others, keeps her on the cutting edge of the luxury wedding market.

In the past, Marva coordinated and produced island-wide international events with the Grand Bahama Island Tourism Board. These rich, invaluable experiences, and the necessary attention to fine details, are applied to weddings so that every Bahamas Destination Wedding need is considered to ensure the happy occasion.
